The recent tableau tech night was a massive success with the room more than filled to learn about this fantastic data analysis tool. The training consisted of learning to import data and databases, changing data descriptions, and some the very necessary basics of tableau to manipulate data visualisations (even mid meeting if need be). We analyzed spending and donations for the 2016 Presidential Candidates and found some interesting donations including $50 Million each to Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton. Being able to map the data by city, state, or zip code was one of the most popular learnings.
