Marriott School Anti-Harassment and Workplace Inclusion Training

Four different clubs of the Marriott School (Women in Business, Global Supply Chain Association, Society for Human Resource Management, and Marketing Association) sponsored the first ever Anti-Harassment Training in cooperation with BYU Title IX and NuSkin last week. As we are more and more aware of issues of sexual harassment in the workplace, this training was vital for BYU Marriott School students as they near the beginning of their careers.

Tiffany Turley, the BYU Title IX Coordinator, started off the night with a training on understanding what sexual harassment entails and how to take action if we experience or witness sexual harassment in the workplace. We discussed certain case studies and what to do in each situation. Anna Franson, HR Manager at NuSkin, also discussed actual experiences that she dealt with within her role.

All that attended left the event prepared to manage workplace inclusion.
