Boeing Case Competition

The Undergraduate Supply Chain Association was able to team up with the Engineering department to have a cross functional case competition sponsored by Boeing. Met with great enthusiasm, teams of both engineers and supply chain students began working on a case that addressed issues that Boeing faces in the real world. Competing for $2000 in prize money, teams went to work applying and adapting the knowledge they have learned in they wide range of classes and found ways to come up with a solution for the case at hand.

The case competition was a huge success and all the teams did very well on presenting their ideas. A big thank you to all who participated, and especially to those involved in coordinating the event. This was the first time ever that Boeing has sponsored a case competition that was run completely by students, where students organized and planned the various meetings and judging rooms as well as laid out the schedule and team organization. So a big pat on the back to the supply chain and engineering students that worked together to pull off such a successful event.
