2018 Junior Core Retreat

On September 14-15 the Global Supply Chain Management faculty, club, and Boeing hosted the newest members of the major for a retreat at Timp Lodge.

Making team flags!

Through the course of the weekend we heard from some fantastics speakers, got to know our faculty, teams, and club leadership better, and had tons of fun! Rob, a former BYU student and now Boeing employee, spoke to us about Boeing and work-life balance. The insights and experiences that he shared encouraged us all to put some thought into our priorities and requirements in a full time job as we prepare to enter the work force in the next few years. Seniors in the program joined us to share their experiences with us, both in the junior core and also their experiences with recruiting in internships. We participated in numerous team building exercises such as an egg drop, flag making, supply chain games, and more!

Overall, we left the retreat feeling closer as a junior core and excited about all the opportunities that lay ahead of us this semester!
